Photoshoot with Patti Negri
Patti Negri is a Psychic Medium and "Good Witch". She is frequently seen on Ghost Adventures and on other reality TV shows. In 2018 I had the pleasure of working with her to photograph images for her book Old World Magick for the Modern World. These are just a few of the images she picked to use in the book.
Working with Patti was great. As a long time actress she knew how to find her light and was very comfortable in front of a camera. I read a galley proof of her book beforehand and gave her a list of what I thought would be the best way to represent what she was discussing in each chapter. We went through the list together making changes as necessary and figuring out what props were needed and where to shoot. When I arrived on the shoot day she had everything we needed and knew where she wanted each thing photographed. Because of our preparation and her professionalism the shoot went very smoothly and quicker than we expected. It was a very collaborative effort.
